About Us

Get To Know Dr. Alexa Carlson

A native of Bismarck, ND, Dr. Alexa Carlson knew from an early age the importance of quality dental care and a compassionate chairside manner.  

After an unfortunate accident at age 6 that left her with no front teeth, she realized right then that dentists play a crucial role in the health, self-esteem, and confidence of people of all ages. A few years later while getting braces, she re-experienced how dental professionals help make beautiful smiles and boost the confidence of their patients. She knew right then that she wanted to do this for others one day!

After graduating from Century High School right here in Bismarck, Dr. Carlson went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. She received her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from Midwestern University Glendale College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ. She is an active member of the North Dakota Dental Association and Missouri Slope Dental Society and is excited to be in her hometown of Bismarck to open her own practice in the community where she grew up. 

When not in the office, you can find Dr. Carlson spending time with her husband and three kids, as well as with her parents and sisters who all live nearby! She enjoys hiking, traveling, and trying new foods. 

Dr. Carlson provides the highest quality dental care to her patients in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. She always strives to give each patient a beautiful smile and the confidence that she felt as a young girl.

Get to know Dr. Ashley Bianco

Dr. Ashley Bianco completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. She loves to spend time with her family and husband, Nick. Her hobbies include doting on her nieces and nephews, quilting, skiing, anything soccer, and snuggling her beloved dogs, Beasley and Maggie.

Your first dental appointment at 701 Dental is the first step in maintaining not only your beautiful smile, but establishing a long-lasting relationship with us. While our office is modern with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, you will find that the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Our friendly staff will welcome you to our beautiful waiting area where you will find all of the comforts of home including our complimentary beverage station.

Next, you will be taken back to the treatment room to see the hygienist for a thorough cleaning before Dr. Carlson or Dr. Bianco greets you for a comprehensive exam. She will discuss any health concerns or other issues you may have and together you will discuss a customized treatment plan that fits your specific needs and budget.

Not only is our office warm and inviting, but our treatment rooms have been outfitted with the most ergonomic dental chairs and ceiling mounted TV monitors so you can feel comfortable and relaxed during your procedures.

Giving back to the Bismarck community

Our families, friends, and neighbors in Bismarck and surrounding communities do so much each day to keep us smiling — it only seems right to give back!

Our team is committed to giving back. That's why we volunteer at Mission of Mercy North Dakota to provide urgent care to patients from North Dakota.

We also donate dental services through Dental Lifeline Network; its mission is to "improve the oral health of people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile and have no other way to get help. We accomplish our mission by developing and coordinating collaborative relationships that provide essential resources for direct-service programs, especially charitable care."

Additionally, we are happy to volunteer at United Way Hero Club, a local outreach that donates backpacks for kids, and Imagination Library, a local organization where Dr. Carlson and her husband frequently provide resources and voluntary time to support the local community!
